Absorbent dressings

Absorbent and caring in every situation

We understand that different types of wounds need different types of dressings. Based on research, clinical evidence and user feedback, we’ve developed 5 types of absorbent dressings, each with unique properties and applications: alupad, novopad, absorbent dressing, exsupad and emergency dressing. There’s a suitable absorbent dressing for different types of wounds and levels of exudation.

Alupad

For lightly to moderately exuding wounds. The contact surface has a non-adherent aluminium layer, which reduces the chance of adherence to the wound bed. Secure with a bandage or tape. Sterile.

Novopad

For superficial, lightly to moderately exuding wounds. This dressing a non-adhering film layer on both sides. Secure it with a bandage or an adhesive plaster. Comes in non-woven and sterile variety.

Absorbent

Pulp-filled, double-sided non-woven dressing suitable for moderately exuding wounds. Has an absorbent side and a moisture-repellent side which prevents leakage of wound fluid. Sterile and non-sterile variety.

Exsupad

Cotton-filled, double-sided non-woven dressing suitable for moderately exuding wounds. Has an absorbent side and a moisture-repellent side which prevents leakage of wound fluid. Sterile and non-sterile variety.

Emergency dressing

Sterile first aid wound dressing for rapidly covering a bleeding wound. Absorbent compress of pressed wadding with a non-woven wound contact layer. Both sides feature a fixation bandage.
